The Snappy Salads Story

Since opening in 2006, Snappy Salads has believed you can order the exact salad you want, made in minutes, with quality ingredients, in cool surroundings. Every day, our culinary-driven team creates fantastic food that will make you feel good, or ever better, after eating it. 

Our menu now boasts a selection of "life-changing" salads, grain bowls, sandwiches, and wraps, meticulously crafted with premium made-to-order proteins, a bounty of 50 fresh ingredient choices, and signature homemade dressings. Indulge in our craveable flavor profiles, such as the beloved Grilled Avocado Salad with Mexican Crema and Chipotle-Lime Vinaigrette or the irresistible Bam Bam Salad with Sweet Parsley Dressing. With our expansion to 10 locations across the DFW area, we take pride in helping our guests discover satisfying flavors that fuel a lifestyle that does more. Snappy Salads has proudly won multiple awards including Dallas Observer’s Critics Choice Award 2022 “Best Salad In Dallas” and DFW Favorites Gold Award 2024 “Best Salad Spot.”

Our Commitment to Sustainability

For us, it's all about leaving the world healthier than when we found it. That means a variety of efforts on our part...

RESTAURANT DESIGN
We prioritized sustainability even before the first salad was ever sold. Our restaurants all use energy-efficient LED lighting. Our countertops are locally made from a combination of recycled brown beer bottles, green wine bottles, white porcelain, and shiny mirrors. And our tables and stools are all from salvaged wood -- one location's tables are older than our country (450 years!) and guests at our original location eat on an old basketball court.

PACKAGING
All our cups, utensils, and take-out containers are made from compostable or renewable resources. Our drinking cups are made from PLA, a biodegradable material derived from renewable resources, 100% U.S. grown corn. These have been in place since the very first day we opened in March 2006. It was a commitment made even before the first salad was sold.  We introduced paper straws long before it was cool...back in 2014. Over the years, we've saved the ocean from million of plastic straws. We even offer locally captured, filtered rainwater, packaged in a biodegradable bottle and sent just a few miles up I-35.
